Croft Surgery is an accredited training practice. Medical students and qualified doctors who want to enter General Practice will spend up to 1 year with us to gain the experience they require to become a General Practitioner (GP). These doctors have often spent a number of years in hospitals treating patients before starting their training at the surgery.
We will let you know if your appointment is with one of our trainee GPs (also known as GP Registrars). They may need to discuss your care with a supervising GP and leave the room briefly at the end of the consultation to do so.
